Let Go and Let BeWe often find ourselves trying
to get rid of things in life. We try to lose weight, kick bad habits or move on from jobs or relationships that are no longer
in our best interest. We try our best to let go. As we know, letting go is not an easy thing many times. It takes courage
to come to a decision that we do indeed want to release something from our lives. Letting something go is one of life's
hardest things to do, but what is harder is letting it be. How often have we let something go,
or stopped doing something, only to take it back or pick it up again. I have heard many smokers say they have quit smoking
100 times. There is wisdom and courage in the decision to quit, but the act is only half done. Once something is released,
we must endeavor to let it be. Courage requires taking that first step, and once done, perseverance must then enter the picture. We can come up with many reasons why to take someone back, or go return to a bad situation, orpick
up a bad habit again, but we are not fooling ourselves. We know that what we have released should not be returned. If
you have come to a courageous decison to let something go, then go all the way and let it be.
